It would be great to have some international data on the modal split of passenger and goods transportation.
Passenger: %Car, %Rail, %Bus, %Walk, %Bike, %Air etc
Goods: %Rail, %Air, %Road, %Ship etc.

Air transport, freight (million ton-km)
Air transport, passengers carried
Air transport, registered carrier departures worldwide
Railways, goods transported (million ton-km)
Railways, passengers carried (million passenger-km)
Container port traffic (TEU: 20 foot equivalent units)
